Delivered to the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 41 225 in 07/1940 at Raw Frankfurt (Main)-Nied, that following WW2 found itself with the DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn. In 1960 it entered Raw Karl-Marx-Stadt [DDR] , now Chemnitz and received new parts, including boiler 113/1959 from Raw Halberstadt. In 1970 it was computerised as No. 41 1225-6 and ran until the Autumn of 1978, but was not withdrawn until late 1987, where upon it was sent to work as a stationary boiler at the SMAD - Soviet Mikitary Administration in Germany, Ravensbrück, DDR. In 11/992 when then owned by the re-united DB, it was sold privately and moved in 03/1993 to Kaserne Fürstenberg vh., then in 1994 to the SEM - Sächsisches Eisenbahnmuseum e. V., Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf, where it remains a static exhibit.
