Is supposedly leaving the park as the park realizes they have too much inventory, and wants to clean up.

A word about the running of this locomotive. She only ran for five weeks on the Concord and Claremont Branch along the shores of Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. Once the boiler inspector realised that the engine had no papers, he ordered the fire to be dropped which happened on August 26, 1961.

Steamtown's first operating engine. Removed from service after maintenance records were lost in a Canadian fire. Could be restored for operation if all new records/designs created from scratch.

The biggest reason it would not be feasable to restore is because when it was in Vermont, it apparantly ran for a couple of weeks before being taken out of service by a boiler inspector.

this loco can not run. even it were to be restored. its maintance records were lost in a fire in Canada. she ran on a shortline railroad. hauling ex maintance of way orage NE railway passenger cars. she ran for only a couple weeks then was sold. so this loco will only make a static display.
