The locomotive was parked in the vehicle hall of the EK publishing house in Freiburg at the beginning of 2005. At the end of 2007, the hall had to be cleared and locomotive 384 moved to the Rhodia AG company premises in Freiburg. On December 7, 2009, the locomotive was transferred from Freiburg to Emmendingen to the Wehrle company using a low-loader. There the locomotive was dismantled and work began to put it back into operation. Work on the new boiler was also started but has not yet been completed. In autumn 2021, the locomotive had to leave the Wehrle company premises due to a lack of space and was taken to Kandern by road low loader for further gradual refurbishment. 47.712483° 7.656493°
