Delivered to the DB in the then West Germany towards the end of 1952 as No. 23 019 based in Trier, it was computerised as No. 23 019-3 from the start of 1968 and survivided in service until 1975 and withdrawn from Bw Crailsheim and later purchased privately by Günter Knauß of Kulmbach for the DDM
