From September 2003 to November 2022 the locomotive was in the SEH - South German Railway Museum Heilbronn. There, the locomotive exterior was refurbished by the museum employees and made ready for movement within the former depot area. As of March 2020, the grounds of the Heilbronn Railway Museum - and therefore the locomotive - were no longer open to the public. In autumn 2022, the locomotive was handed over to the Lower Rhine Historical Railway Park Foundation. Since then, the locomotive has been preserved in the open air in Moers-Rheinkamp and is still not open to the public. 51.500416° 6.629041°

This was originally, to my understanding, Braunschweigische Landeseisenbahn RHUEDEN 13 prior to 1938 when it was re-designated DRB No. 89 7531, working until early 1947. It then joined the new DB as a Werklok at Raw Schwerte, firstly as No. 3, then as No. 6003 later being designated No. 089 003-8 in 1968 whilst stored. It was first preserved during 1974 at nearby Hannover-Linden the, in 1975 privately for the DDM followeded, in 1977, in Reimboldshausen bei Kirchheim/Hessen in its DB identity. In 1998 it went to the Niederlausizer Museums Railway at Finsterwalde as their No. 2 but only a year later it went to the SEH at Heilbronn, where it was in 2006. I have no record of it belonging to the kkStB although, by date, this is possible ?
