In 2014, ownership was transferred to the Saxon Narrow Gauge Railways Foundation. In the winter of 2015, the locomotive was brought to Jöhstadt where it was thoroughly cleaned and reconditioned. The locomotive has been on display in Radebeul in the historic Güterboden (Saxon Economy Conference Center) since the summer of 2016. 51.0988668824857, 13.680634435830072

Originally Sächsische Staatsbahn No. 196 which, in 1925, became the new DRG No. 99 606 through to 1949, when ceded into DR in the same identity, later No. 99 1606, later computerised as No. 99 1606 and, in 1992 as inherited by DB re-numbered as 099 712-2. In 1993 it went to the VMN, Nürnberg and in 2005, on loan from the FVM, Dresden to display at Bw Carlsfeld where it remains.

this locomotive returns in 2005 back to its original operation area and is located as a monument locomotive in the loco shed in Carlsfeld
