Ordered by the then DRG but probably delivered to the succeeding DRB as No. 03 204, it ran in the same guise for the emerging DR from 1949 following WW2 until being withdrawn at Bw Cottbus in 1977. In the meantime it had been re-numbered as 03 2204-0 though there is no record of it being re-built as a Rekolok; it still has a an old type boiler with a mixer preheater. It was displayed for 15 years at Bw Cottbus following withdrawal then, in 1994, purchased by the LDC who successfully ran it during several Plandampf events, see album photographs, during the 1990s. It is no longer operational. I think the number 03.177 is either a mistake, or a very temporary identity during its preservation and has no relevance ?
