Originallly delivered to the DRG, soon to become the DRB, as No. 03 098, it joined the emerging DR in 1949 with the same identity but rebuilt it as a Rekolok during the 1960s, later emerging as EDP No. 03 2098-6. It was withdrawn in 1977 and stored until 1981 at Bw Guesten when purchased by the HEF, Frankfurt am Main. In 1982 it went to Sinsheim at the Speyer TM for display.
