Built to the order of the DRG, but actually delivered, and accepted, by the DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 01 204 in 04/1937. it found itselt after WW2 in the Soviet sector of East Germany; subsequently joining the newly created DR - Deutsche Reichsbahn. It ran in its original identity until 1970 when it was computerised as No. 01 2204-6 and worked until withdrawal in 1982, whence it was soon sent to Bernd Falz, via St Wendel, in Hermeskeil and where it remains as a stored exhibit.
