Delivered in 03/1883 to the Royal Bavarian State Railways, Germany as their No. 83 BERG and went, in 04/1924 to the first DR - Reichseisenbahnen of the German Reich, group administration Bavaria in the same identity. The company became, in 08/1924, the DRG - Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft and in 05/1925 renumbered the locomotive as No. 98 7508 until retirement at the end of 1926. The following year it went to BHS - Bayerische Berg-, Hütten- und Salzwerke AG, München for Alpentorf peat plant, Raubling-Nicklheim as BERG, working further until 1964. It was preserved in 1967 by the DGEG - German Society for Railway History e. V., Werl for Museum Neustadt, Weinstrasse as BERG and where it was stored in 2019.
