I have not yet been able to find any confirmation of the Humboldt 661 being scrapped. According to reports, it has been in the Lower Rhine Historical Railway Park Foundation, Moers-Rheinkamp since the early 2000s.

Originally Humboldt, Köln Werklok No. 3, later Kronprinz AG, Solingen-Ohlings, and in1958, for WLH Hattingen and Paper co. Kabel, Hagen. It was later, around 1967, working in Nidda for Hornitex GmbH, before in 1982, being obtained by Eisenbahnfreunde Wetterau, Bad Nauheim and given the ‘fictional’ number 98 111. It went to Essen in 1992.
