Remove STAR expansion as it is inaccurate. Ownership: Built for the Lake View & Star Gold Mines Co. in 1910. It was either loaned to Great Boulder Gold Mines Pty. Ltd. in 1949 or sold to them in 1952, either way it was operated by Great Boulder Gold Mines Pty. Ltd. until 1960 when it was withdrawn and donated to the Australian Railway Historical Society (ARHS), Western Australian Branch (Rail Heritage W.A.) in 1962. It was moved to the Bassendean Railway Museum in November, 1971.

Built for the Lake View & Star mining company in 1910 by Orenstein and Koppel. After the 2 ft lines serving the mines and mills was dieselised in the 1930s it was retained on standby along with the rest of the steam fleet. It was donated to the ARHS WA division around 1962. It originally fully restored and put on display in November of 1971. But was stored to make room rusting away. It has now been fully restored and is back on display and has been since 2019.
