Built by Vulcan Ironworks in Wilkes-Barre, PA 4432 of 1943 and originally became USATC No. 1959, being transported to the UK during WW11 and stored (apparently at Newbury Racecourse) pending use in Europe. It was then purchased for a mere £2,500.00 in 1947 by the Southern Railway and given the number 64. Upon Nationalisation in 1948 it was then re-numbered 30066 and lasted with that company until July 1967.
