this locomotive may be a double entry, there only seems to be 1 compressed air locomotive in Canmore, the one right next to the Canadian pacific mainline by the KFC.

The former Long Meg Plaster and Mineral Co. Ltd, Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST Works No. 2361 "W.S.T.", has gone on loan to Hopetown in Darlington to operate steam train rides there which are starting from the 26th of May 2026.

The 15inch gauge scaled down Great Central Railway 04 2-8-0 No. 6284, is visiting the Whistlestop Valley Railway (Kirklees Light Railway) for their 20th anniversary Gala Weekend on the 25th and 26th of April 2026, which is marking 20 years when the Hurd family purchased the railway back in 2006.

The newly oil fired ex United States Army Transportation Corps S160 2-8-0 No. 2253 "OMAHA", made her first moves under steam at Grosmont for the first time in a year and will be undergoing a series of test runs and footplate crew training before entering service again at the the North Yorkshire Moors Railway soon, and her fuel status should now say oil.

Hello Do you know how many of the Yugoslavia ZV Class 62 survive in their native country. According to a recent article in Steam Railway, 62-125 was the last in service pictured shunting on October 21, 2025. I assume others survive in a stored/out of use condition. many thanks

The former Krebet Baru Sugar Mill, Orenstein & Koppel built 0-4-4-0T Works No. 3770, is now longer in the UK now as its now located at at the Hedelands Veteranbane (Hedelands Veteran Railway) at Hedehusene in Denmark.

The ex NCB Frances Colliery, Andrew Barclay built 0-4-0ST (Works No. 2259) No. 30, is now back on display at Lochore Meadows Country Park in Lochgelly in Fife, Scotland, following its completion of its Cosmetic Restoration and looks a lot better now.

locomotive was built for GWR in 1872, was later used by a cement plant. she ended up completely submerged under layers of mud, dirt and water from 1910 or so until 2024, when the locomotive was finally resurfaced. nothing is currently known about where she ended up after being excavated, though.
