The Henschel 15311/1917 was delivered to the Berlin railway replacement park under the HF number 1551. After the end of the war the locom otive went to the French sand quarry at Borron-Marlotte, Seine et Marne, Île-de-France where it apparently spent its entire life, being numbered 12 , later 5. In 1964 it was finally decommissioned.. In 1969, the Pithiviers Transport Museum took it over, as No. 4 in their pool of stock. The locomotive is still used today in front of museum trains.
