Originaly designed for, and delivered too the Spremberger Stadtbahn as a one off type, and singular class locomotive that became their No. 11 and served through in this guise until 1956. It was then taken on by the post-war DR as No. 99 5001 and after a substantial (1956-1957) period in Raw Goerlitz it worked for the relatively flat NWE-Netz until being placed in reserve for three years in late 1967, followed by a stint at Wernigerode Westerntor, being officially withdrawn at the end of 1973. It was then purchased privately by the CF Regionaux Dunieres-St Agreve, Loire, France in its latter idedtity, afterwards moving to the scrapyard of Mr. M Previt in Portes-les-Valence. Please note CFR, Romania, has had no connection with this locomotive which is why I have split the Chemin des Fer from Regionaux, in France. The locomotive also appears to have NEVER run for the DB, which itself should be changed to DR please.
