This locomotive has the distinction of having hauled the last ever commercial steam operated train on French Railways on 24th September 1975. The train operated between Gray and Sainte-Colombe. It was not a glamourous "last of Steam" excursion, just an every day freight train.

This cannot be NBL 21024. More likely to be 21624.
