The details featured for this locomotive on the site are incorrect and relate to a class of 2-4-0T manufactured around the same time by Beyer-Peacock, . This locomotive is indeed an 0-6-2T but constructed by Hanomag, Hannover, Germany No. 3808 of 1903 and supplied to the MD as No. 20 (named Leca). In 1931 it became CP No. 02020, then No. 012 from 1951.

No12 is in a siding a short car ride from the main Museum buildings. Pistons and connecting rods gone, smoke box door wide open. Bit of a sorry state. Rusty all over. Cylinders dia 20ins,length 30ins. Driving wheels 53ins.diameter.
