New owner since 2022: PRESS GmbH (railway construction and operating company Pressnitztalbahn) In 2022 the locomotive was transferred from Ampflwang to Lübbenau to be made operational (exact location unknown)

86-1056 was the DR computer number for 86-056, however the full number is 86-1056-0.

I think there is slight confusion (on the site) as to the history of this locomotive. When delivered in 1923 it was DRB No. 86.056, retaining that number from 1945 until 1970 during its Reichbahn days. The DR renumbered it 86 1056 for its remaining service with that company and it is now running with its former DRB/DR number 86.056.
