Originally delivered to DRG as Kriegslok No. 52 3397, and from late 1945 to 1948 with occupying forces SBZ, It was then sequestrated by the USSR to operate as No. TE-3397, and re-gauged from Standard to 1524mm. It was found stored in a ‘reserve’ at Gusev, (Kaliningrad Oblast ?), Russia in 1992. Since then it has been moved to the Lokomotive Park, Haapamäki, Finland.

The builder would have been Krauss-Maffei.
