On 6th July 2019 the locomotive carried no identity but, according to the driver, two locomotives had been re-built into one. Certainly signs of de-construction were observed over the wall at the rear of the workshops. Given that No. Px29-1705 has been displayed as a plinth (which we did not observe - possibly replaced by one of three ex SJ locomotives though we did not cover the entire premises) and could have been sent for scrap, a combination of Nos. Px29 1701 & 1702 are the most likely candidates?

And I thought Chaparrall (with only one letter l) was a type of scrub vegetation found in California, and 'High Chaparral' was a TV programme. You live and learn. Oh yes, and I am fairly sure that DR didn't go in for cow catchers on their locos.
