The locomotive was first supplied to the SJ Central Building Depot for construction work, then sold to Kohlswa Ironworks, the going on to work at the company’s feldspar mine in Torp. Following closure it was locked away in a shed and eventually came to the notice of the Swedish Locomotive Club after which the company agreed to give it to ÖSIJ. Only then was it given the No. 2 and named ‘LOTTA’ working on the museum railway at Lina Bruk, near Södertalje before being moved to Mariefred in 1966. As they had another locomotive (VIRA) at that location with the same running number, it then became their No. 1 to avoid confusion.
