Delivered from the manufacturer in 610mm gauge to Hannans Star Mine, later LKe View & Star Gold Mines then the Australian RHS museum, Bassendean, and last recorded at Banksdown, NSW.

The loco originally worked at the Lake View and Star Mine, Western Australia until 1938 when replaced by diesels. Then went to the Great Boulder Gold mine, working until early 1960s. Has travelled via New South Wales and Victoria before arriving in Tasmania.

At present various part are stored in the open at the Wee Georgie Wood railway at Tullah
