Originally suppied to the DRB (probably ordered by the preceeding DRG) and delivered as No. 03 295, in 1949 it went into DR service in thevsame identity until being re-built as a Rekolok in 1974 with parts from No. 22 048, emerging as No. 03 2295-8 until, in 1980 finding work in Leipzig as a Stationary boiler. It was, in 1992, following sucession by DB, first preserved by BEM, Noerdlingen and spent a couple of years in Raw Meiningen before attending their dampflok fest in 2007. In 2010 it moved privately to Augsburg, where it is no longer operational.
