One of two 0-6-0T locos built in 1881 to operate on the Fremantle to Guildford line which was the first suburban railway line in Perth. In 1888 they were rebuilt at Fremantle workshops and tenders added to increase range. In 1906 sold to Timber Corporation Ltd. Operated in the Greenbushes area for many years, a timber & mining town in south east of WA. It is said it was rebuilt again while at Greenbushes. The company became part of Millars Timber company. In the 1920s the loco moved to Palgarup until 1937. Ended up at Yarloop. In 1959 Millars passed loco to WAGR who restored it so it could be displayed at the Railway Exhibition Hall at Claremont Showgrounds. It is now on display at Bassendean Railway Museum.
