The BR built ex GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7827 "Lydham Manor" is now operational again at the Dartmouth Steam Railway following completion of her overhaul. The locomotive has been turned out in British Railways Green livery for the first time in preservation. No. 7827 is currently undergoing testing and running-in trials before entering service during the 2024 season at the railway.

7827 Lydham Manor Is Currently Out Of Traffic Undergoing A Overhaul It had a boiler certificate that was valid until April 2021 but the locomotive was withdrawn from service in October 2020. It is thought the overhaul will take two years. Its Hoped That Wil Be Repainted Into GWR Green But This Is Hopeful Thought

The ex GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7827 "Lydham Manor" has been withdrawn from service for its 10 year overhaul which will get underway when the overhaul on 42XX Class 2-8-0T No. 4277 is completed.

The GWR Manor Class 4-6-0 "Lydham Manor" is to visit the Churnet Valley Railway in February 2019. During its visit it will take part in there Winter Steam Gala round then and be used for Footplate Experience days. Where members of the public can have the opportunity to drive and fire the locomotive.

The Lydham Manor number 7872 is now operational, and runs on special occasions on the railway.
