The "Alco-Schenectady Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 5678 through 5687; Road Numbers 2109, 2110, 2100 through 2102 and 2111 through 2115, were shipped to "Southern Pacific Co." during November of 1900. If the unit Road Numbers were assigned out of order, as indicated above, Construction Number 5683 would equate to Road Number 2111. Road Number 1673 must have been assigned at a later date. All of the units were 2-6-0's with a "Specified" total weight of 137,000 pounds (This is not necessarily the "Actual" total weight).
