After being on display at the Severn Valley Railway’s Engine House Museum at Highley and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway’s Museum at Ravenglass the last few years, the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway’s Pacific No. 7 "Typhoon" is being relocated to the workshops of the Vale of Rheidol Railway at Aberystwyth, Ceredigion in Wales for overhaul.

No. 7 "Typhoon" has gone on loan to the Engine House at Highley on the Severn Valley Railway for display for the year.

Was originally built as a 3 cylinder loco, but due to reliability and maintenance problems and extra coal and water costs, it was converted to a 2 cylinder loco by Davey Paxman in 1935.
