The ECD Ltd, were only the intermediaries for Minas de Pejau, Pedorido, Portugal. It first came to the UK in 1972, later going to the South Tynedale RPS at Alston as No. 3.

The former Empresa Carbonifera de Douro Orenstein & Koppel built 0-6-0WT No. 293 (Works No. 11784) "Sao Domingos" will be visiting the Old Kiln Light Railway for their 40th anniversary Gala on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of September 2022.
