The former NCB, Whitehaven Colliery Avonside built 0-4-0ST Works No. 1772 "Askham Hall" has been moved to John Fowler Engineering at Bouth in Cumbria for cosmetic restoration. After this the locomotive will relocate to its new home at the Beacon Museum in Whitehaven in Cumbria for static display.

From what has been said about this locomotive it is planned to have the former NCB, Whitehaven Colliery Avonside built 0-4-0ST "Askham Hall" to be fully restored for use on the Eden Valley Railway at Warcop near Appleby in Westmorland.

Askham Hall is now at HAIG COLLIERY MINING MUSEUM in Whitehaven, Cumbria. She is being restored to her full glory.
