This locomotive has been moved to Pennsylvania to be restored by the MCchugh company. The same company that was originally a scrap dealer, which also was prevalent in some steam locomotive restorations in the 60s and 70s, and worked with the New Hope Railroad for a time. They currently make their business restoring historic diesels. Mostly industrial critters and center cab locos. Bigger stuff as well. But they also restore components for steam locomotives on tourists railroads.

I bought this locomotive on April 11, 2015, from the Hoosier Valley RR Museum, and a private owner with part interest in her. She will be moved to Strasburg, Colorado the last week of July 2015, and I have rented a space so I can work on her at Uhrich Locomotive Works. She is located on PRIVATE PROPERTY owned by Uhrich Locomotive Works, known for building 15" gauge steam railroads. PLEASE do not ask them about my project, or attempt to visit #6 without making prior arrangements with me. Visitors or inquiries of any kind are welcome, and further information about Coronet Phosphate railroad operations, or #6's missing bell, headlights, builder's plates, & whistle, or in service photos of her are especially welcome. please contact: Sammy King PO Box 664 Byers, Colorado 80103 (303) 822-8802 (landline with voicemail, NO CELL, no "smart phone", NO INTERNET)
