This locomotive is currently on display outside the Grand Canyon Railway depot in Williams, Arizona. I recently went on vacation to Arizona and was surprised to see this locomotive there.

Status should be stored; the M&PP RR is currently closed for renovation.

As stated, No. 4 is back in service and used very rarely.

The buzz is No. 4 will make rare appearance Saturday October 23,2010 under steam. Passengers will not be carried, but visitors will be able to see this rare locomotive under steam. No. 4 power the last steam train to the summit of Pikes Peak September 3, 1958.

Not operational anymore. Was retired in 2006 due to mechinical problems. Diesels are mostly used now.
