The overhaul on the Golden Valley Light Railway’s 1997 T.D.A. Civil built 0-4-2T "Joan", has now been completed and the locomotive is now operation and set to return to traffic for the summer.

The 1997 T.D.A. Civil built 0-4-2T "Joan" has now been dismantled for its overhaul as the boiler has been lifted for work to be carried out on it.

The 1997 T.D.A. Civil built 0-4-2T "Joan" is to be withdrawn from service after working its final trains at the Midland Railway Centre s Golden Valley Light Railway at the end of this weekend.
