Ty45-421 was first delivered to Opole in January 1951 and spent much of its life at depots within Silesia. At the end of 1992 it was withdrawn from service and placed on display next to the private approach road to Lazy depot where it stayed until May 2015 when it was taken into the depot for renovation.
