c/n 3981 has not been clarified beyond doubt 1943 delivery to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn [D] "52 5690" 1945 to MPS - Ministerstvo putej soobšcenija [SU] "52 5690" 1952 redesignated "TE-5690" 1984 Redesignation to "1042.391-1" 1992 RŽD - Rossijskije zheleznyje dorogi [SU] "1042.391-1" Whereabouts unknown

This is yet another locomotive delivered to the DRB (successor to DRG) as No. 52 5690 which was sequestrated by the USSR in 1945 for the SŽD who gave it number TE-5690. In 1993 it was stored in the reserve at Zeheleznodorshnyj, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.
