Originally delivered to the DRB (successor to the DRG) during WW2 as No. 52 5508 it was sequestrated by the USSR, presumably re-gauged and used by the SŽD as No. TE-5508. In 1993 it was at Krasnovka, Kaliningrad oblast, Russia.
