ILFORD reports that the loco was on loan to Volgograd for use on "Santa Trains" on 23rd December 2023.

As an operational locomotive, there are reports of it a various locations recently. ILFORD reports it as follows: on loan to Nizny Novgorod in 29/11 and 3/12/22, Kazan in 5/12/22, Penza in 12/12/22, Volgograd in 14/12/22. (Santa trains)

P36-0218 built by Kolomna 10387 in 1956, at Rostov-on-Don (Gnilovoskaya), located at West Railway Museum and depot, operational in November 2016.

Restored to operating condition and re-entered service in early 2016.
