This is the first of six tender locomotives built for the Tarragona, Barcelona and France Railway as Nos. 23 - 28, later becoming part of the MZA in 1891 who, a decade later converted them to 2-4-0T locomotives, renumbering this one to No. 176. Four of the class survived into RENFE ownership in 1941
