The original SHS stands for State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs (Slovencev, Hrvatov in Srbov), for whom the locomotive first worked as No. 3004. Only later did it go to Jesenice as No. O-XI. Its dates or identity in Yugoslavia with Jž as No. 71 023 are not recorded, but it plinthed at Zrece, Solvenia Railway Station prior to 1994.

This locomotive and 71-023 are the same locomotive.
