Pw53-1980 is a rebuild of the original larger gauged (785mm) locomotive with the serial No.of Tw53-2564. It was provided to Bytom Karb and spent its years between here and Maciejkowice before going to ZNTK Nowy Sacz where it was rebuiult to 750mm gauge and numbered in its current identity. It soldiered on at Sompolno and Wloclawek before being withdrawn in 1977 and a year later being sent to the Railway Museum in Warsaw, and from here it went to its narrow gauge subsidiary at the Narrow Gauge Museum at ul. Towarowa 7, 96-500 Sochaczew, Masovia
