Pt47-112 took the short journey from its manufacturer to Poznan Glowny Osobowa depot for entry into PKP service in May 1949 and where it apparently stayed until going to Czestochowa in 1973. It had a major overhaul at ZNTK Pila in 1989 and visited Jaworzyna Slaska in 1993 plus Wolsztyn in 2005. it was taken to Gniezno for medium repairs in 2007 and returned to Wolsztyn but was decommissioned here at the end of 2008, where it remains as an exhibit at the PKP depot, Wolsztyn.

During the repair in 2007, the steam locomotive received a tender with the designation 27D48-57 from Pt47-65. In fact it is Pt47-28s tender with an unknown number that Pt47-65 received during a major repair in 2003.
