Dale W Fickés reports:

Ol49-69 was delivered to Deblin and spent most of its time in eastern Poland other than a visit to Zagan in 1974 followed by Wolsztyn in the summer of 1976. It was withdrawn in 2001 and taken to Gniezno but is currently regarded as a wreck at the PKP Cargo depot at Zacisze 1, 64-100 Leszno, Greater Poland.

This site has a lot of specification for polish loco's you'll see theres a couple with 1750mm drivers, and an ol49 has 850mm trailing wheels, it's this loco I'm hoping to model, but its not made professionally, so I'm trying to locate loco's that may have been manufactured with this specification. Any way in the meantime this might be of help to you http://www.h3.dion.ne.jp/~rsfe/pol_locos_e.html Cheers Craig.

An OL49 carrying this number is in operation at Wolsztyn at present, although it has undergone an identity swap with OL49-99 according to one website I have read (why I do not know). Would you be so kind as to help me identify locomotives with 18 spoke, 1750mm drivers (68-69") also I'm looking for locos with 10 spoke 850mm (33-34") trailing wheels. Sorry to be so specific, but any info is appreciated. Love he site, great idea. Craig (UK)
