This locomotive arrived with PKP as No. Ok22-51 but, in 1941 was re-numbered by the DRB as 38 4536. It was re-instated, formally, to the PKP in the Spring of 1945, presumably as No. Ok22-31 at Piotrków Trybunalski and subsequently worked along a corridor throughout Southern Poland and Silesia until it reached, for the second occasion, Opole in late 1963. It was withdrawn from service here in 1979 and transferred to the Railway Museum in Warsaw from where, in 1987, it underwent major repairs at ZNTK Pila, followed, by a decade of working from Wolsztyn depot, cumulating in September 1997, its last run before being stored as a cold exhibit in the depot. At the end of 2002 it was taken to Gniezno and where nothing much happened, at the end of 2004 was taken to Interlock, Pila for repairs from where, four months later, it returned to Wolsztyn. However, each year in 2005, 2006 and 2007 it went for repairs to Gniezno and is, yet again, awaiting financial support for repairs at the PKP (now Cargo) depot, ul. Fabryczna 1, 64-200 Wolsztyn, Greater Poland.
