Originally intended for delivery to DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn as No. 50 3091 that, was actually delivered in 11/1942 as DRB - Deutsche Reichsbahn 52 053 that in 1945 went to the PKP - Polskie koleje Panstwowe, Poland which in 1946 was renumbered by them to Ty 2-29 according to the renumbering plan of the Soviet Military Transport Administration, Lemberg and which was withdrawn in 1990 from Nowy S?cz depot. From here it went to jSkansen (museum) taboru kolejowego w Chabówce, Chabówka as No. Ty 2-29 tgat has since become the Museum of Vehicles and Railway Technology, Chabówka], Lesser Poland.

Ty2-29 (52.053) spent three years upon delivery with the DRB then, by the summer of 1946 was with the PKP at Bialogród. By 1947 it had moved to Starogard on Ina and, by 1963 it was, via Slupsk and Szczecinek at Katowice. It moved to Nowy Sacz in 1982 and by 1990 was withdrawn and placed at Kraków Glowny, In 1993 it visited Sucha Beskidzka en route to Skansen Chabówka, which it reached in 1998 and where it stayed until 2014 when it was taken to Nowy Sacz where it is currently under renovation at the PKP Cargo depot, off Nawojowska, 33-300 Nowy Sacz, Lesser Poland
