The locomotive was produced for the DRB as No. 56 2795 and there appear to be no records of its activities before reaching Jelenia Góra in 1960 and, the following year, Wegliniec from where it was withdrawn in 1972. En route to Warsaw, it had long stays in both Miasteczko Slaskie and Klodzko before being displayed at the (soon to be moved and demolished) Stacja Muzeum. ul. Towarowa 1, 00-811 Warszawa, Masovia
