Bialowieza is in Podlasie Province, Poland on the border with Bialarus.

TKt48-138 at first went to Kielce and spent most of its life in eastern Poland before reaching Jarocin in the Autumn of 1974, where it still was when withdrawn from traffic in Spring 1992 and later placed at the station in Knyszyn on display. In August 2002 it was transported via Hajnówka to Bialowieza Towarowa Station where it now sits outside with a couple of coaches and other memorabilia, at what is now the Karska (Czar) appartments & restaurant, the former Bialowieza Towarowa Station
