C10 8 was sidelined in January and was modified to play as “Percy” from the Thomas & Friends television program. After some test runs, C10 8 debuted in its new form on March 7th, 2026, and can be found running Thomas themed trains in tandem with C11 190, who currently plays Thomas

C108 has (temporarily) been withdrawn from service. Assembly rivets in the front pony truck have worked themselves loose. It was scheduled to go down for routine mid-ticket maintenance from July to October.

Please change status to "Operational". C10-8 moved under her own power for the first time in 4 years on Oct 14, 2022. The locomotive was spotted moving around the Shin-Kanaya yard again on Oct 29.

Please change status to overhaul. After minor damage from picking a switch in the Shin-Kanaya yard last year, the engine was withdrawn from traffic for inspection. The decision was taken to thoroughly rebuild this engine once C11-190 returned to operational status, and in September 2020 the work began.
