The former Canadian National Railways 4-8-4 Northern No. 6167 has been relocated to a new display site at Guelph’s John Galt Park. No. 6167 will be located beside the Guelph Junction Railways mainline and remains close to its former stomping grounds.

CNR #6167 will be moved just across and down the tracks from its current location, the new location is planned across the tracks from the VIA / GO station on a new plot of cement with possible cover. It is to be moved sometime around the end of April 2010.

The "Alco-Montreal Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 69260 through 69274, Road Numbers 6165 through 6179, were shipped to "Canadian National Railways" during the March through May time period of 1940. All of the units were 4-8-4's.

Following CN dieselization in 1960, 6167 was used on excursion service until replaced in 1964 by another 4-8-4, 6218, which operated on excursions into the early 1970s.
