The 6060 steam locomotive is under active repair. Staybolts were removed in June 2020. Welding work, patches and plugs were completed in the fire box in September, 2022.

with the retirement of Frisco 1522, 6060 now has the distinction of being the only operational 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotive in North America.

6060 is currently owned by the Rocky Mountain Rail Society, and periodically pulls Alberta Prairie Steam Tour trains.

6060 is actually currently based out of Stettler, Ab not Edmonton, and the site is Alberta Prairie Steam Tours.
