The four wheel tender was probably built for Acme Brick Porter 0-4-0 #5 when Glen Stone in Tennessee owned both Acme #5 and Argent #5. The Argent tender (see NGSLG Nov. 1985, pg. 50) was used on Cedar Point #22 (see http://www.cplerr.com/SSSBrickCoal22.html). Both engines were sold to George Roose of Cedar Point who made the tender switch. I have no knowledge if parts of the Argent tender are still in use at Cedar Point.

This locomotive is owned by the Ramey family who owns and operates the Northern Queen Inn Hotel and Nevada County Traction Company, which operates a short 24" gauge diesel-powered train ride at the 15-acre hotel site in Nevada City, California.  The Steam locomotive is operated on an irregular basis on seperate trackage at the hotel site and is NOT owned by the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum.  I believe that the locomotive last ran in August of 2002.  There was an effort being made to complete a short strip of 36" gauge track between the Nevada County Traction Company land and the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum on an adjacent piece of land for the Museum's grand opening in May of 2003, but I do not think that it was ever completed.

Loco now at museum of Nevada County Narrow Gage in California. Photo on their website. Roose bought this engine for Cedar Point but never used it there.
